Releases

This page tracks firmware and cloud dashboard releases for HopBox. We recommend keeping your devices up to date to benefit from the latest features, security patches, and performance improvements.

HopBox supports remote firmware updates through the cloud dashboard:

  1. Log in to your HopBox Cloud dashboard
  2. Navigate to Devices → [Your Device] → Firmware
  3. If an update is available, click Update Firmware
  4. The device will download, verify, and apply the update automatically
  5. A reboot will occur — typically completing within 2-3 minutes

You can switch channels from Device Settings → Update Channel on the cloud dashboard.

On the local device dashboard, navigate to System → Overview. Your firmware version is displayed at the top of the page.

From the cloud dashboard, go to Devices — the firmware version is listed for each device in the device table.

If an update causes issues, you can rollback to the previous firmware version:

  1. Go to Device Settings → Firmware → Rollback
  2. Select the previous version from the list
  3. Confirm the rollback — the device will reboot with the prior firmware
