Overview
HopBox is an open-source, cloud-managed SD-WAN platform built for secure and resilient enterprise networking. It combines purpose-built hardware appliances with a centralized cloud dashboard to give you complete control over your network.
What is HopBox?
Section titled “What is HopBox?”HopBox is a managed SD-WAN solution that lets you:
- Connect multiple sites with encrypted VPN tunnels (WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec)
- Optimize traffic with dynamic multipath routing and intelligent failover
- Secure your network with built-in firewall, DNS filtering, and web access policies
- Monitor all devices in real time from a single cloud dashboard
- Automate firmware updates, configuration changes, and policy deployments
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”Each HopBox device runs a customized OpenWRT-based firmware that connects to the HopBox Cloud. From the cloud dashboard, you can manage all your devices, configure SD-WAN policies, set up VPN connections, and monitor network health — all from your browser.
